    Hello Conley Coyotes! I am looking forward to reading with you this year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    My undergraduate degree is from The College of New Jersey, and I earned my masters in Literacy Curriculum and Instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University. I recently graduated with my PhD in Learning, Literacies, and Technologies from Arizona State University. I have taught elementary school in New Jersey and Arizona, and I support teachers with becoming literacy specialists.

    My Educational Philosophy

    As Mark Twain noted, we should not let schooling get in the way of our education, and like Paulo Freire, I believe in supporting students with learning to read both the word and the world.
