    My Education and Professional Background

    I am a product of CUSD. I graduated from Chandler High School in 2007. I have been playing music since I was 9 years old when I started playing the Clarinet. I hold a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Education from Ottawa University with an endorsement in K-12 Music Education. I have been teaching Band and Orchestra (4th-8th Grades) since 2010 in the Phoenix and Queen Creek School Districts.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe on focusing on fundamentals first. This may mean taking a few steps back at the beginning, however, once the students have a firm grasp of the basics it will exponentially increase their ability to be self-sufficient in the long run. When the students feel successful, especially with something they put together with just a bit of guidance from me, that becomes invaluable because they will want to do it again and again.
