    Welcome!

    Greetings Coyotes! My name is Carrie Collins. I was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. I am married and raised 3 wonderful children who attended Conley! I spend my days doing what I love most and that is teaching, crafting, going to plays, swimming, going to the beach, and making memories with my family!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I attended Arizona State University and received a BA in Elementary Education. I have an endorsement in teaching English as a Second Language. I also have an endorsement in Early Childhood. I taught 1st grade for 5 years in Laveen. I then took 9 years off to raise my children. This will be my 18th year in Chandler Unified School District. I have taught 3rd grade, Kindergarten, and 1st grade and this is my 23rd year of teaching. I have had the honor of being Team Lead Teacher, Mentor Teacher to new teachers, Teacher Mentor to those interested in becoming teachers, on committees to adopt new curriculum, and many other committees to better educational needs.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My philosophy of education is that everyone thrives from learning and life's experiences. Thus making us lifelong learners. My quest is to make learning fun and to give my students the very best educational foundation at the early stages. I want to work closely with my student's parents as they are the first educators in their children's lives. We can work together to provide the best education possible and to help their child blossom!
