My name is Jenny Mather and I am SO excited that I get to be your child's first grade teacher! My teaching career began in 2006, and there is nothing else I'd rather do in this world! I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from the University of Tennessee GO VOLS! with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I went on to pursue my Masters degree from ASU in Curriculum and Instruction.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I will help children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I will assist children in discovering who they are, so they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas. I have a vision of a world where people learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between us, as the core of what makes life so fascinating.
