    What is NJHS?

The National Junior Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding junior high school students. More than just an academic achievement,  NJHS serves to honor students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.

To be academically eligible, candidates must be members of the 8th grade class. These candidates shall have a minimum cumulative scholastic average of 3.5. Their eligibility for membership shall then be evaluated according to their service, leadership, citizenship, and character.

Our chapter will be driven by the ambitions of our members.  We will meet monthly to participate in workshops and do club activities.  Students are expected to acquire 30 community service hours over the course of the school year.
