    Welcome to Kindergarten where we challenge ourselves, foster community, and find exciting and fun ways to learn and grow together every day!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Johns' Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Prior to that, I was a Sales Manager for Proctor & Gamble and then Energizer Battery Company. In addition to Kindergarten, I have also taught 1st grade.

    My family and I moved to Arizona in 2009, after living in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, as well as, Baltimore, MD and Dover, DE. Our 2 kids, Matthew and Maggie, attended CUSD for elementary school and jr.high.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all children can learn. Each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.
    As a teacher, my main goal is to help your child learn to be an independent, lifelong learner. To reach this goal, I will meet your child where he/she is at and guide him/her as far as possible.
