    Welcome to another new school year! I am so excited to have the opportunity to help your child learn and grow. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

    My Education and Professional Background

    In 2004, I received my bachelor's degree from ASU (Go Sundevils!) in Food and Nutrition Management. In 2005, I began my career in public service by working in the Child Nutrition Programs at the Arizona Department of Education. After 10 years, I decided I wanted to work more directly with students, so I decided to change my career path. In 2016 I began my teaching journey by working towards my master's degree in education at NAU (Go Lumberjacks!). I feel like I have found my purpose and look forward to a great year with my students!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each student has the ability to learn and grow with the right tools and resources. It takes a warm and welcoming classroom environment to draw out each student's strengths and to help them reach their fullest potential.
