    My Education and Professional Background

    Mrs. Mendoza has been teaching since 1994. She taught in Newark, NJ before moving to Chandler, AZ in 2000. In Newark, NJ, she taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade Bilingual Education and Reading Recovery. Since she joined Galveston Elementary in 2002, she has taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. Mrs. Mendoza has a degree in Psychology and Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe all children can learn when given the opportunity, the support and the proper tools. Our children are our future. They need all of us in order to be successful.
