    Welcome to First Grade! I am excited for another year of learning.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been teaching since 1996 and it's the only thing I have ever wanted to do! Since I joined Galveston Elementary in 2003, I have taught second, third, fourth and fifth/sixth grades. Arizona State University is where I received my degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish, as well as a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, I have endorsements for K-12 in English as a Second Language and Reading.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Every child can become a confident, effective, imaginative, and lifelong learner. As their classroom teacher, I realize the unlimited possibilities that he/she can achieve.
