    Welcome!

    Hello and welcome to Andersen! My name is Rachel Eaton and I will be your child’s PreK teacher this year. We are going to have tons of fun while we play, learn, and grow together!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. (Go Sun Devils!) I also achieved my National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist in 2013 and submitted for my recertification last Spring. This year marks my 16th year teaching.  I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade. I love Early Childhood and am thrilled to have joined the Andersen family. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    As an early childhood educator, I strive to instill students with a love of learning, develop positive social and interpersonal skills and behaviors, and foster the quest for knowledge. Active collaboration with my colleagues and the community helps to ensure my students’ success.
