    Welcome!

    Hello, my name is Mr. Trudgen. I am an Arizona native and have been a music teacher since 2011. I started my first 4 years primarily teaching secondary choral music and have been teaching elementary general music since then. I am very excited to be teaching at San Marcos this year and look forward to working with your students to make awesome music.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every student should have access to create, perform, and connect with music. Music offers students a unique way to express themselves and help them connect with their learning across campus. Music should be fun and utilize a combination of moving, playing, singing, and creating in order to give the students a well rounded experience they can build upon once they reach higher levels of school as well as in their personal lives outside of school.
