    Welcome!

    Hello Bears! I am excited to join you as we start the 2024-2025 school year. I know this year will be outstanding and we will all learn and grow together.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am a Double Devil, completing both my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Master's in Educational Leadership at Arizona State University. My career began in central Phoenix as a 6th grade math teacher in the Madison School District. The past four years I have served as a K-8 District Math Specialist in the Tempe Elementary School District. I have a passion for mathematics education and serve on the board of the Arizona Association of Teachers of Mathematics (AATM) and as a Teacher Leader for the University of Arizona's IMPACTS program. These organizations advocate for quality mathematics education for students and provide professional development for educators.

    My Educational Philosophy

    All students deserve a high quality education in a caring and supportive environment. I will continue to support San Marcos staff and students in maintaining the amazing culture I experienced on my first visit.
