    Welcome to Room 23. I can't think of a bigger honor than being your child's first teacher at Navarrete. I look forward to making this year a positive experience academically, emotionally and socially.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from ASU several years ago with a degree in elementary education and early childhood. I have been teaching kindergarten for over 20 years in the Chandler School District.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe young learners need to be excited about what is being taught and this can be achieved by using a variety of teaching strategies. I like to use make learning fun and I encourage my students to love what they learn.
