• Disconnect OneDrive Sync

This step is only necessary for users who have set up the OneDrive sync client to synchronize their OneDrive files to their work or home computer. This is very uncommon, but you can follow steps 1-3 below to determine if you need to complete this procedure.

If you are using OneDrive software to sync your CUSD work files to your work or home computer, you will need to disconnect your CUSD account from the OneDrive software (if you only use the web-based version of OneDrive, you do not need to worry about this). This needs to be done on every device that you have set up OneDrive sync. Once the username change has been made, you will be able to log on to OneDrive sync again using your new CUSD username.

    1. In the bottom right corner of your desktop, click the system tray expand icon icon to expand your system tray.
    2. Look for the OneDrive sync client icon icon for OneDrive, and hover over it to see if it indicates you are connected to your CUSD OneDrive account:

    1. If the OneDrive sync client icon icon does not appear, or if the icon does not display Chandler Unified School District #80 when you hover over it, you do not need to follow the rest of these steps.
    2. If your OneDrive client is connected to your CUSD account, right-click on the OneDrive sync client icon icon and select Settings.
    3. OneDrive settings window Click on the Account tab and click the Stop sync link next to anything related to your CUSD account (if a message pops up, click Stop sync or Unlink account to confirm you want to disconnect your account).
    4. Repeat the last step as needed to remove any CUSD OneDrive locations from the sync client and click OK.

NOTE: you will need to repeat these steps on every PC or laptop that you have set up for OneDrive sync.
