• Document Any Shared Links

    This step is only necessary for users who have created public links in Office 365 or OneDrive that allow anyone within or outside or our organization to view specific documents.

    Make a note of any Office 365 or OneDrive documents that you have shared using a public link (e.g., linking to an online Word file on your Schoolwires website) … these links will need to be updated after this change is made, so it will be helpful to have a list of these links made ahead of time. Likewise, if you use web links to access Office 365 documents that have been shared by other CUSD users, these links will no longer work. This does not apply to documents that were uploaded directly to Schoolwires … only to files that are stored in your OneDrive space and linked to on your website, Infinite Campus, etc.

    Please note that you will not lose access to files that have been shared with you directly by other CUSD users. The links to these files may change, but you should still be able to access these files in the Shared With Me section of OneDrive.
