• Recreating Public OneDrive Links

(only necessary for those who made links to OneDrive files that allow anyone in CUSD, or anyone at all, to view them)

If you have used OneDrive public links to share Office 365 files on your Schoolwires/Blackboard website, on Infinite Campus, etc., these links will need to be updated. The old links that were based on your IFAS number will no longer work.

To create a new public link to a OneDrive file:

    1. Select the file in OneDrive and click the Copy Link button button at the top.
2. Click the arrow at the bottom of the window that pops up to expand your sharing options, then choose one of the following options:
      • the Anyone option will make the link available to anyone who has it … for example, this option would work well for documents that you want parents to be able to access on your website
      • the People in Chandler Unified School District option will only allow users to access the document if they are logged in to their CUSD Office 365 account
    3. If you select the Anyone option, enter an expiration date for the link, or leave this blank to make the link last indefinitely.
    4. Uncheck the Allow editing box to keep others from editing your document.
    5. Click the Apply button
    6. Copy the link that appears
    7. Replace outdated links on your website, Infinite Campus, etc., as needed with the new link
