    Welcome!

    Welcome to the General Music Classroom! I LOVE teaching elementary music and believe that every child needs and enjoys creative music making. It is my passion to educate and help students become successful.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Ohio State University and have gone on to receive my Masters in Music Education from Arizona State University. I have an Arizona Music Endorsement, am Tribes trained, and have served as President of the Arizona Orff Association: a non-profit organization that provides professional development workshops for music teachers in the Orff Process. I have been teaching elementary music since 2006 and am proud to be a Chandler teacher.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all children are musical and it is my goal and passion to explore that characteristic and lead students to be creative, and purposeful thinkers; and have tons of fun doing it!
