    Welcome!

    Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Tennille Farias and I am so honored to be part of the Pride at Patterson. I am from Kansas City, Missouri, so your kids will definitely hear about my love of CHIEFS football. My husband, Zef, has worked at Intel for over 20 years. Our daughter, Monica, is a 5th grader this year at Patterson. This is my neighborhood's home school, so I am excited to see you out and about in the community!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and from Arizona State University in 2014 with a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. I have been a classroom teacher for the past thirteen years, teaching multiple grades, including 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. I am proud to be a teacher in the wonderful state of Arizona!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe every child has the ability to achieve academic excellence with the support of their educators, family, and community. It truly "takes a village" to provide students with the guidance and tools they need to be lifelong learners. Establishing a strong classroom community is my #1 goal because I believe children thrive most in an environment where they always feel safe and supported.
