    Welcome!

    Welcome to Mrs. Ellegard's class! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! Here's a little info about me. I have 3 wonderful girls. My daughter Brinley is in 3rd grade here at Patterson, Kaylee is a junior at Basha High School, and Ashley attends Baylor University in Texas. I have an amazing husband, Rory, who has always supported me in following my dream of teaching. I am looking forward to a fun and successful year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at ASU with a Master's in Elementary Education. I also obtained my bachelor's degree from ASU. Go Devils! This is my 9th year teaching in the Chandler District, and my 5th year teaching at Patterson. I love this amazing staff and wonderful community here at Patterson.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe in teaching to the whole child. I do that by creating a fun and safe learning environment where students feel accepted for who they are. I will do whatever it takes to help your child be successful and reach his/her full potential.
