    Welcome!

    Welcome to 5th Grade! I am originally from West Lafayette, Indiana. My wife, Julie, is a physical therapist/athletic trainer and my daughter, Jalelle, is a junior at Perry High School. We have 3 cats (GiGi and Lem Lem & Minky). I am a US Army Veteran and very thankful for all who have served. Fun Facts: I love Africa and Asia, I travel there every chance I get.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have many years of teaching experience and have been at Patterson since 2013.  My education background includes a Bachelors from Purdue University and a Masters from The University of Arizona.  GO CATS!  I have a K-8 Teaching Certificate, Principal Certificate, and a K-12 Gifted Endorsement.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that if you create an environment where kids can feel safe and have fun, they are going to learn. When parents tell me that their child loves to come to school and is excited about learning, then I know that I have done my job well.
