I was born in Utah but grew up in Barcelona, Spain. I have also lived in France, Texas, North Carolina and Utah. I speak five languages: English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese and French. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Following graduation, I taught for seven years in southern Utah –my first two years were in second grade and my last five years were in kindergarten. I moved to Arizona in 2015 and started teaching kindergarten for Chandler Unified. I spent the next five years teaching kindergarten at CUSD. In December of 2020, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I spent 2020 to 2022 teaching students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities –kindergarten through second grade. I joined the Bologna preschool team last year and am so happy to be here!
