    Welcome!

    Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Ms. Hamilton and I am honored to be teaching your child at Bologna Elementary. I am looking forward to working closely with you and your child to make this a memorable year! I cannot wait to see your child grow academically, socially, and emotionally!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I also have a Structered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement! I have taught pre-k through third grade in both a general education and special education setting. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I strive to be an educator who is welcoming, engaging, and kind-hearted. I have always been a dedicated and organized learner with a passion for educating children. My goal is to provide my students with equity and inclusivity, while also building positive and impactful relationships within the classroom. As an educator, I believe it is my duty to build a positive classroom community by providing them with positive reinforcement, by always encouraging students to try their best, and by maintaining a growth mindset. Building relationships with my students help them feel supported, loved, and help them feel ready to engage in learning.
