    My Education and Professional Background

    I began my educational career in 1999 at Frye Elementary teaching both 3rd and 4th grade.  In 2014 I joined Andersen Elementary teaching 4th graders. This will be my 5th year as a Technology teacher at Bologna Elementary for Kindergarten through 6th grade and my 1st year at San Marcos (teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 6th grade).  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Technology and Media Instruction.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all children can learn when given all the necessary tools to acquire knowledge. I love watching my students become independent, responsible individuals who enjoy learning in my classroom. I feel all my students learn best when they know everyone around them is fully invested in their educational career as well as their well-being. Thank you for entrusting me with your child this year to teach them about being a smart, digital citizen demonstrating responsible choices in the 21st century with technology for both learning and everyday life.
