    Welcome!

    Hello. My name is Tara Chmielowski (or "Miss C.") and I feel so lucky in be in a profession I love teaching your kiddos! My favorite people in the world are my two kids, a 9-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy. My favorite animals are my two cats, Pumpkin and Pepper. And my favorite things to do are play board games and take bike rides and play pickleball with my kids.

    In this classroom, parents, you are valued! I want to communicate openly, learn about your families, invite you into the classroom, and support you and your child.

    This year your child will be taught and given lots of chances to practice the skills needed to grow academically and socially/emotionally. They can expect lots of recognition for positive behavior choices and I can't wait to share that with you.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am both a proud Wildcat with a Master's in Library Science, specializing in early literacy and a Sun Devil with a Master's in Early Childhood Education.  I get to combine these two passions to create an extraordinary year of active learning and joy!

    As Kinders develop at their own unique rates, it is my job to meet them where they are and never underestimate the power of play in the learning process.
