    Our Business 
    Our job is to help each child attain his/her potential, academically and
    socially, and establish a community of life-long learners.  We will achieve this goal by incorporating Responsive Classroom principles in all that we do, implementing the Core Knowledge Sequence, utilizing instructional strategies that keep all students actively engaged in learning, and involving families in our efforts to support the academic and social growth of our students.
    Our Purpose 
    We work to provide opportunities for all children to become well-rounded
    citizens, both academically and socially, with the hope that we will equip them to become contributing members of society.
    Our Values 
    C.A.R.E.S. (Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy and Self
    Control) forms the foundation for the success of all members of the Humphrey community – staff, students and parents.  We promise to act with personal integrity and with a commitment to have a positive attitude that empowers our vision. Together we hope to provide a legacy for continuous learning.
