    Welcome!

    I was born in Cleveland, Ohio but moved to AZ (Tempe) when I was 3 years old. My late husband, Kerry, taught at Chandler High and coached swimming. I have the opportunity to continue being an assistant swim coach at Chandler High. We have a daughter named Bristyn and a son named Dusten. My step son, Kagen, teaches at Chandler High. He and his wife Claire have two amazing boys. We have two wonderful dogs, Bruno and Ziggy. In my rare free time, I enjoy boating, reading, walking, and practicing yoga.

    My Education and Professional Background

    As far as my schooling, I was politically correct and attended U of A and ASU for my undergrad degree in Early Childhood Education. Then, I completed a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from NAU. I also have obtained endorsements in Early Childhood, ESL (English as a Second Language), and Reading. The children's excitement for learning and their love of school is what I enjoy the most about teaching. This profession is never dull. There is always something new and exciting that challenges me each day!
