    Welcome to our third grade classroom at CTA Humphrey Elementary School. In our classroom, students are encouraged to take risks and become actively engaged students in our learning environment. We strive to be respectful, work hard, and have positive attitudes each day. I look forward to helping your child learn, grow, and gain self-confidence this year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been teaching at CTA Humphrey since 2005. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California, Davis. I also have a Masters of Science Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. I am a Certified Spalding Teacher, and I also hold endorsements for both Early Childhood and ESL.

    My Educational Philosophy


    As a teacher, I believe that all of my students can and will succeed. I believe that self-esteem and self-confidence are some of the most lasting gifts that I can give my students. My job is to help students attain his/her potential, academically and socially, and to establish a community of life-long learners. In the end, I want to help my students be prepared academically, socially, and culturally for the future.
