    Welcome to Ms. Hartman's webpage! My name is Elizabeth Hartman and I am the reading specialist here at Humphrey! I am excited to help all students grow and find the enjoyment for reading.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College; it is a small school in Minnesota. Here I received my degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in science. I received my Masters of Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University in 2013. In addition, I have my reading and math endorsement. I began working for Chandler Unified School District as a fifth-grade teacher in 2012. I have taught all grades from second to sixth grade.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal in teaching is to make a child's school experience fun, challenging, and nurturing which I hope sets a pattern of being a life-long learner. I will work hard to create an environment where students feel safe to explore and take risks.
