    Welcome!

    Hello Marshalls! My name is Jessica Messina and I am a fifth grade teacher here at CTA-Humphrey. I am originally from Southern California, and my family still lives there so I visit often. I am married, and my husband and I have a very spoiled cat named Luna. I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, and shopping in my free time. I also enjoy traveling, although I do not get to do it as often as I would like!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I moved to Arizona to teach, and I have been here ever since! I also have my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. I have been teaching at Humphrey since 2013. Before coming to Humphrey, I worked in the West Valley, teaching 5th and 6th grade for five years.

    My Educational Philosophy

    At CTA-Humphrey, we are preparing all students with the academic and social skills necessary to pursue any dream. I believe that all students can succeed, and my goal is to inspire life long learners and encourage a love for reading.
