The Royals Flag Troop has a special job at Ryan Elementary. These students have volunteered to serve our school by performing the Reveille and Retreat ceremonies; the raising and lowering of the school's American and Arizona flags. In doing this, they practice traditions that have existed since the American Revolution. When our troop members perform their duties, they do so with pride and respect. They know our flags honor all those who served, those who continue to serve and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Not just in the military, but all those Americans who serve our nation, our state, our community and our Constitution of the United States. Royals Flag Troop 2019-2020 Campaign: "We few, we happy few, we band of Royals. For whoever runs with me today, shall be a Royal."
