    Welcome!

    Welcome to Ryan! I am excited to explore new ideas with you as we move, sing, create, and play instruments. I feel extremely grateful to be starting my teaching career at Ryan this year, and I know we'll have a lot of fun together!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Learning and Teaching from Arizona State University in May 2023. I have been playing the flute since I was in 5th grade, and throughout the rest of my schooling I picked up more instruments and participated in concert bands, jazz band, marching band, orchestra, and flute choirs. I am looking forward to a new chapter at Ryan Elementary School!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every person’s life can be enriched through music in some way. Each individual has something valuable and unique to offer, and that can be expressed through music and creation. I also believe music is inherently connected to culture, and that through studying and creating music we can better understand ourselves, our communities, and those outside our circles.
