    Welcome!

    Welcome to 4th Grade! I’m excited to work with you and your child. We'll have a HOOT! We will have lots of fun collaborating with friends, engaging in many projects, and learning about ourselves. Most importantly, we will have wonderful memories.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. A master's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I also have endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Structured English Immersion, and a Reading Specialist endorsement. I began teaching in 2000. I have taught kindergarten, first, second, fifth, and now fourth grade. I love being part of the Ryan Royal family and look forward to a successful year ahead!

    My Educational Philosophy

    Believing in one's self and working hard to achieve personal goals, leads to academic pride . My classroom is a warm, safe environment where everyone feels welcome, comfortable and able to learn. I believe in a partnership between school and home. Your support is important and essential to your child's success. I will engage and guide the children in the learning process, and help them to become independent and confident thinkers! Go O.W.L.S.!
