    Welcome!

    Hello! I'm very excited to be your child's teacher this year. I am originally from New York, but have been living in Arizona with my husband for over 20 years. We have two wonderful children, Samantha and Jason, both college graduates. My teaching career began over 25 years ago, teaching grades K-6, but mostly third grade. I'm looking forward to being your guide in fourth grade as we encounter many fantastic adventures.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my Undergraduate Degree in Business Management from SUNY Binghamton. I have a Master's Degree in the area of Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I am also certified in the areas of ELL, Reading, and Guidance Counseling.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My approach to teaching is an eclectic approach. I believe children learn in multiple ways, and I am the guide in fostering this to happen. I also believe that children, parents, and the teacher all working together as a team equals success.
