    Welcome to First Grade! I look forward to working with you and your child this year. Many exciting learning experiences await your first grader!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am an Arizona State University alumni where I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  I am excited to start my 18th year here at Ryan Elementary.  This will be my 17th year teaching first grade at Ryan.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal as a teacher is to inspire and educate children to be enthusiastic about learning. I enjoy watching each and every child develop a love for reading. Within our classroom, I will foster a loving learning environment where we will build our own community based off of respect, kindness, and integrity. I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year with all of you. Welcome to the Fabulous First Grade at Ryan Elementary!
