Hello, I'm Ms. Marmie and I welcome you to first grade!
My Education and Professional Background
I've been teaching since graduating from Arizona State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Go Devils!! I student taught at Ryan Elementary, also a CUSD school. I taught first grade for seven years and then most recently second grade for the last 4 years at Santan Elementary. I'm excited to have now joined Carlson in first grade.
My Educational Philosophy
I'm passionate about teaching and want to create connections and create a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning for your child. By working as a team between school and home, we will have the best chance at being successful in reaching this goal!
