    Welcome! I'm Valerie Willis and I've been a teacher for over 20 years! I love what I do and believe everyone benefits from having fun at school! While there have been challenges in recent years, we have persevered! This alone is a testament to the resiliency of our students and families!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I started my career in a PreK class, and I've taught 3rd, 2nd, multi-age combo (1st/2nd), and kindergarten.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Children want to learn, inquire, and be heard. They want to know they're safe, trusted, and cared for. When those needs are met, children soar to new heights. As a teacher, it's my job to allow some productive struggle, build self-confidence and clear a path from the unknown to the known.
