Welcome 4th graders and parents! When walking into room 24, you will encounter a very dedicated, and passionate teacher. I am very excited to work with you and your child this year.

My Education and Professional Background

I started my teaching career in 2006 and have only worked for Chandler Unified School District. I began my teaching career as a special education teacher and have taught various special education programs. My journey into general education started in 2014 when I joined the 3rd grade team at Carlson Elementary. I moved to the 4th grade team in 2020. I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northern Arizona University.

My Educational Philosophy

The mission of Carlson Elementary is to prepare a community of life-long learners to be productive and empowered citizens capable of successfully participating in society, by providing high quality instruction in an environment that is challenging, safe, and fun.
