    My Education and Professional Background

    Music has been a part of my life from a young age. My elementary music teacher shared her love of music with me and that inspired me to become a music teacher as well. I studied Music Education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I graduated in 2015 and immediately moved out to Arizona where I have been teaching for the past nine years. I have taught all ages from K-12 throughout my career, but my favorite age group is elementary. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I whole-heartedly believe that every child is capable of singing and experiencing music. Music is a vital part of the human experience that should be cherished at every moment possible.
