    Welcome!

    Welcome to Early Childhood (Pre-K)! My name is Erica Martin and I am thrilled to be a new member of the Haley family. I am new to Haley this year but not new to teaching. I am excited to partner with you and your child on their learning adventure this year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Xavier University and a master's degree in Special Education from the University of Hawai'i. I have taught in many states as well as overseas in grades Pre-K through 8, but my last 12 years have been in Kindergarten. I am looking forward to returning to my Pre-K roots this year!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that education is the greatest gift we can give to our children, and it begins at birth. The early childhood years are so formative and there is a tremendous amount of growth that happens from birth through age 5. My goal is to always strive to provide a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for children to explore, ask questions, make mistakes, and grow into who they are meant to be! I love what I do, and I look forward to the adventure that is waiting for us this year.
