    Welcome to the new school year! I'm honored to be a part of your student's journey this school year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my BA in Education and teaching credential from CSU Monterey Bay. My teaching career started in California, but I was quick to realize that Arizona gave me a much better chance to own a home... so here I am. I have taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, as well as K-6 gifted students. I am happy to be back in 6th grade. It is a wonderful year full of fun, new adventures.

    High expectations, a safe environment to take risks, and effective teacher feedback lead to a growth mindset. Building a culture of student supported growth leads to life long learners that are up for a challenge.
