    My Education and Professional Background

    My name is Rachel Mickelson. I was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona, and attended Chandler Schools myself. In my free time, I enjoy being outside and spending time with my family and friends. I graduated from Arizona State with a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education in 2012. I have been teaching since 2013.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My desire is that each child feels personally acknowledged and cared for in the classroom. I try to recognize strengths, and foster growth in all areas. My goal is for my students to love learning and to be lifelong learners.
