    Welcome!

    Welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Jayla Jarrell and I am beyond excited to be your child's teacher. This is going to be a great year in fourth grade filled with fun, learning, and new adventures. I hope that if you have any questions you will feel free to ask at any time, the door is always open.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have always had a passion for working with kids. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Elementary Education, I taught 3rd grade in Tucson, AZ. I then taught 1st grade for 7 years at Haley and this will be my first year in 4th.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe in creating a safe, welcoming, and positive environment where students are able to learn from one another and share their ideas. It is my goal to recognize the uniqueness in each individual child in order to help him or her achieve their highest potential. I also believe in holding students to a high standard and encouraging them to always try their best.
