Hi! My name is Kim Lipchak, and I am very excited about starting the new school year as the Dual Language Immersion English Language Arts teacher.
I have worked in the Chandler Unified School District since 2006. I began working as a Kindergarten Reading Enrichment Teacher. My experience in teaching includes Preschool, Kindersteps, Kindergarten and First Grade and two years teaching at the secondary level in Special Education. I have also worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in Chandler at Bologna and Knox Elementary. Prior to coming to Chandler Unified School District, I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for approximately 7 years.
I graduated from the University of Arizona and received my degree in Speech and Language Sciences and I received my Masters in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I am a native of Arizona and decided to raise my three kids in Arizona. My students all attended and graduated from the Chandler Unified School District. I have lived in San Diego, Idaho, and Wisconsin but ended up back in my home state. I love reading, hanging with my family and friends, but mostly hanging with my granddaughter.
My mission as a teacher is to create an environment where students can acquire knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, and explore their interests. My goal is to empower young minds, instill a passion for lifelong learning, and equip students with the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond. I love teaching First Grade and being a part of the Dual Language Immersion program.
