    Welcome!

    Welcome to Auxier Elementary School!  My name is Jason Barletta, and this is my fifth year as the Assistant Principal of Auxier Elementary.  It is truly an honor to be a part of the Auxier family and community. It is my mission, both personally as well as professionally, to contribute to the well-being of my family, friends, my church, and my community. This commitment does not waver from time to time or place to place and is a core reflection of who I am and who I always strive to be as a leader, role model, and trusted servant.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I was born in Arizona but grew up in Michigan—GO BLUE! I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and later completed both my Master's and Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University. With 17 years of experience in education, I've had the privilege of teaching 2nd and 5th grades, as well as serving as an administrator at both the junior high and elementary levels.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy is based on student-centered leadership. Every decision made in education should be based on what’s BEST for our students. I look forward to working with the students, community, and faculty to ensure that Auxier is a place where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued.
