    Welcome!

    Welcome to second grade! I am excited to be your child’s teacher. I know this will be a fun-filled year of learning! I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students and families at Auxier and building partnerships for success.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 2003. I also have endorsements in Art, Early Childhood, and Structured English Immersion.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every child can achieve academic and personal success. Each student has unique, individual strengths and is a valued part of our learning community. My goal is to instill a love of learning in all of the students I teach by creating and maintaining a positive, caring, and engaging learning environment where students feel respected, appreciated, and safe.
