    Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so happy to be teaching your children this year. I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of exciting growth in academics and fun together as a class

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my bachelor's degree from Houghton College in Elementary Education in 1997. I received my master's degree from Northern Arizona University in Special Education in 2003. I began teaching in 1998. I taught 4th grade for 3 years, 2nd grade for 3 years, 1st grade for 3 years, and have been in Kindergarten since 2007. I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2019.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each child is a unique person who needs a secure, caring, and fun atmosphere to grow emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically. My goal is to inspire a life-long love of learning in each child in my classroom.
