    Welcome to Auxier Elementary! I am excited to be your Counselor and I look forward to a wonderful year working with the students, parents, and staff.     My Education and Professional Background

    As a product of CUSD Schools, I received my education from Erie Elementary, Anderson Junior High, and graduated from Chandler High School (GO WOLVES!). I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 2013. I received my master’s degree in School Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have taught grades 4th-7th.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to our world. I will help students to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I will assist students in discovering who they are, so that they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas. I will encourage every student to be their best each and every day and portray themselves as positive, responsible, and respectful students in the community. I believe all students are capable of success and will rise to the top when challenged. I want to be an inspiration for high achievement, meeting student needs and goals, and I want to be a positive role model to the students, colleagues, and parents. I believe we all have to work together to ensure the success and education of each child. I want to create a school community that is safe, respectful and accepting of one another. It is my goal to push each student to be their best inside and outside of the school setting.
