    Welcome!

    Hello! I am so excited to join Hartford as the school’s social worker. I look forward to building strong and positive relationships with our students, families, and community.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Purdue University with my undergraduate degree in elementary education in the spring of 2019 (Boiler Up!). I then pursued a master’s in social work from Indiana University – Purdue University and graduated in the spring of 2021. While I pursued my masters, I worked at an ABA center for children with autism as a Registered Behavior Technician.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all children can be successful and that all children bring unique strengths to the table. I believe in the importance of supporting the whole child – academically, behaviorally, emotionally, and socially. I believe in the importance of the connection between home, school, and community as all three areas impact student well-being. My goal is to support and foster whole child success through collaboration and connection with our amazing families, staff, students, and community.
