    Welcome! I am thrilled to be able to guide your child in building on his/her English language foundations and gaining the skills necessary to become a self-sufficient, life-long learner.

    My Education and Professional Background

    In 1997 I completed my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at Arizona State University and began my career. Later, I went on to earn my ESL endorsement with coursework from the University of Phoenix and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University. I continue to build my knowledge and strengthen my expertise by taking advantage of the many professional development opportunities offered in CUSD.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Education should provide children with academic and social foundations which inspire them to become thinkers who develop the problem solving abilities needed to take ownership of their learning, pursue their passions, and have the confidence to work through challenges. It is my privilege, as a teacher, to guide and support them as they build these foundations and begin their journey on the path to success.
