    Welcome!

    Welcome to third grade! My name is Tamara Siegfried, and I'm elated to be your teacher this year. My goal is to share my creativity and knowledge with my students as I help them explore and discover the hidden treasures of the world around them. I look forward to working with you and your child as we set goals and celebrate our successes together.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have 19 years of experience working with children of various ages and abilities in multiple types of settings. I graduated from American Military University in 2016 with a bachelor’s in Child and Family Development.  I received my Teaching certificate for grades K-8 at Pima Community College  on May 19, 2021. I also have my SEI endorsement and have experience teaching first grade.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe every child is unique and should be treated that way. Their strengths should be noticed and their soft spots should be nurtured. I view each of my students as individuals with unique needs and circumstances, giving them the specific encouragement, focus, time, and direction, they need in order to flourish and build skills they need for the future. I also believe that the classroom is a living community and that everyone, to include the principal, teacher, students, parents, and the community must collaborate in order for the students to have an effective learning experience that will contribute to their success.
